My story is so much more than saving the planet or deadlifting my bodyweight—it is a rollercoaster of love, loss, and lunges. Let's take a step back to where it went wrong... or maybe where it went right?

I met him at a climate conference in Bali. He was tall, brooding, PhD in making me "melt". Over the course of two days, we connected over carbon footprints and late-night smoothies. Six months later, he ghosted me for a yoga instructor (I know, I know). I was deadlifting my sorrows, jogging off my grief, and drinking protein shakes keeping up with my 5AM rise. Then the rebound came into play. A French environmental lawyer who promised that he would never hurt me. Spoiler: he did. 🍷

However, on the upside, heartbreak turned me into a machine. I deadlifted my restrictions, planked through my panic attacks, and found comfort in my soil samples. Today, I am a walking contradiction of a scientist who cries over polluted oceans, but also crushes kettlebell swings like they were revenge.
